Using RF to recharge the batteries because people are too lazy to just plug it in?
Does ANYBODY realize just how stupidly wasteful it is to use an induction field to charge it?
Why aren’t engineers allowed to design ANYTHING? This is a STUPID idea. Yet, another moronic idea from a “designer” that couldn’t pas physics 101. This was designed by a marketing droid.
I wonder if it might help to isolate them, but then the charging might be interrupted..hmm….well, so far it is still in its prototype state, so I hope these problems will be resolved, ’cause I want one!
in cold weather country the discharge rate of lithium battery is much higher.. meaning the battery might get frozen, and the driver freeze to death while driving from Missouri to Minnesota.
car manufacturer should make cars safer and more reliable.. so that it does not break down all the time, and have a higher safety rating..
Instead of making cars like this… futuristic car?? what a fk joke. i personally would not buy a car looking like this, which could get stuck in between 18 wheelers.. if you know what i mean.
This would be pretty nice for someone who has a close commute to work everyday. Or someone who lives in a busy city and doesn’t drive far to get groceries etc. Probably would be sufficient for NYC driving.
I could see this being sold as a motorcycle class vehicle in the US… but I can’t see anyone buying it unless it can do 70mph over 50 miles on a single charge.
If it can’t do highway speeds then it’s not useful in the US.
Seeing all the comments I gotta say, yeah perhaps it would fair poorly in certain crashes… in America.
Bluntly I swear that north America as a whole has the worst driving logic in the world, “make the shitty drivers safer by putting them constantly in the fatter cars out there” so if they are juggling a cellphone and a starbucks and run into somone in a smaller car at least THEY will be safe…. to continue being idiots. *head desk*
