The profile and the back of the car are great, much better than the broken curved line of the Panamera(above back seats) but for a company with the WINGS as a logo, Aston Martin again had created an ugly blocky brick front of the car. Just lose the botton grill and use only the trademark one, much more elongated, because those “blank” areas below the headlights are horrible! This RAPIDE should look slick ,a “mouth” from wheel to wheel in the front will be awesome.

We all have our preferences.
The Maserati is a bit less powerful (about .6lb/bhp) but it is also cheaper.
As for looks, that comes down to personal opinion.

Aston, what are you doing?! You need to put twin turbos in that just like the Panamera! This heavier car needs more power!!

How is the Quattroporte better? To me the Aston is better, the Quattroporte seems underpowered.

Trouble with this car is the only people that will be rich enough to buy it will probably sit the back. When surely all the pleasure of an Aston Martin is sat in the driving seat. So it kind of defeats the whole object of the of an Aston Martin.

If (and thats a big if) I were ever in that market, I would take this over the Panamera (it just looks a little too funky) but the Quattroporte is still better than the Rapide.

Gorgeous car - I think AM makes very aesthetically pleasing cars - I can stare at them forever. The interior too is amazing on the Rapide.
