Everyone needs to chill… its a funny commercial trying to sell a diesel car to those who want to be more environmentally friendly. For others like myself, buy the R8, RS4 etc and continue to burn gas…its not like the Green Police are going to catch you in those.

But I’d wait for the 2012 A3 model, it will look so much better.

  6. MsDDiddy Says:

@dare2act: the liberal media are the ones that are getting this environmental message across. its the ignorant, so-called god-loving conservatives who think anything to do with the environment is a hoax.

    Scariest Commercial Ever.

  9. dare2act Says:

The people who made this commerical should win an award. But the Liberal media will not let that happen. sad

    Glenn Beck reference=epic win

  12. XKopaka85X Says:

I agree-CO2 causing warming is not right, heck it doesn’t make sense when all the facts from the ‘Green People ‘ are wrong. Do you watch Glenn Beck everyday like me?

  13. jakeawaythe16th Says:

even with a degree in environmental studies… I disagree with the conclusion CO2 is a toxic element. It’s natural. Just like how water is natural, but too much in your basement (or lungs) can be a nuisance or deadly, that’s the issue at hand with climate change. But I agree 100% with the greater issue being pollution, things which are directly impacting our health, unnatural elements destroying all life. GHG can be naturally regulated better than toxic chemicals if we were to stop both

is it just me or does this commercial seem a bit odd? The fact that they would arrest people 4 this seems kind of scary.

  18. Shaganapimoone Says:

I think the larger issue is the fact that we are poisoning and polluting our planet to the point of making it uninhabitable. Even if Global Warming doesn’t concern you, you should be concerned that if we don’t change the way we pollute on so many levels, we won’t survive anyway.

  19. Shaganapimoone Says:

Actually, pretty damn funny thought! heh heh!

  20. Shaganapimoone Says:

Partly true, it’s happening at such an increased rate that the NATURAL CHECKS can’t keep up. And warmer temperatures also cause MORE plant life to die, through draught and forest fires and flooding. As much as we’d like to try to make it a null concern the truth is that it is very real…

  21. Shaganapimoone Says:

Actually, it is caused by both, solar flares and humans. Where it does happen naturally, we are exacerbating and increasing the ill effects of it. Aside from the whole Global Warming issue, which causes increased H2O melt(which in some areas will cause greater snowfall/rainfall and seeming temperature drops), is the fact that we are making our planet uninhabitable through our mass poisoning and polluting of the environment. THAT I think is the greater issue at this point in time…

Actualy this kind of thing could happen in the US or Canada. It just wouldn’t be this extreme. We would not be thrown in jail for a styrofoam cup but we might get fined or taxed extra for using them, and thrown in jail for using gasolene cars or lawnmowers soon. All it takes is for some false evidence to “prove” that doing things the old way will cause catastrophe for everyone in the near future and that would frighten people to give up their rights to save themselves and our planet.

  24. kjordon1 Says:

Right in Florida we had one of the LONGEST cold spell this winter and one of the coldest winters on record! Right now on the last day of February and during the rest of the week, the whole state is cold or chilly and normally it would be quite warm by now. So much for global warming.
