the stop/start button is in a fairly normal place(tho i can’t remember what it is you do with the keys) and the completely unmarked button to open the door from the inside is on the radio console for some reason.

January 19th, 2010 at 10:43 pm
And why do you prefer the Weismann? Because it’s German? Or because you can start it?!

Best car for this type: Mazda Miata.

To me the Weissman looks like the El Nino from Need For Speed Hot Persuit 3.

Weeeelll. Compared to any other vehicle in its performance class I’d argue the Tuscan is rather economical.
Also the ready supply of spare parts, bolstered each winter by the write-offs, helps a bit.
Still, I’d probably swap the Tuscan for an MF3 if I could…

Lol “my wife loves the vibrations”.

@warikplaya
Price of ownership.
A TVR is cheap to buy but very expensive to run. (Wiesmann has the advantage of using BMW engines. BMW probably spent more money on developing that engine than TVR did on the whole car)
TVRs also have a low resale value because they are so unreliable and expensive to run.
I can find several TVR Tuscans from 2000/2001 with 30-50000km on the clock for about 22.000euro.
The cheapest MF3 I can find is the same age but with 90.000 on the clock. It’s 56.000Euro.

I just love the TVR cause of their exhaust pipes. They just look so good. Id prefer the older version of the Tuscan though.

if I had that Weismann I would lick it clean every weekend and park it in an airtight air conditioned garage.

Figures that wimps would like the wimp car over the TVR.
All joking aside, they both look fantastic, but I prefer the TVR. There’s just something about them and it has nothing to do with the “thrill” or the “danger”. I suppose it’s because they are so crude, because they lack any sort of driver aids and the fact they’re made of fiber glass.
Much like a Lamborghini or a Viper or a muscle car of some sort, TVRs just have so much personality.

I’d prefer the TVR Sagaris, but you take what you can get I suppose.
January 19th, 2010 at 10:43 pm
i’d have the weissman
January 19th, 2010 at 10:43 pm
how do they compare those cars when the price is sooooo different?
January 19th, 2010 at 10:43 pm

January 19th, 2010 at 10:43 pm
