   hell i just wouldnt try to out run the cops, better off paying a fine or something then having a harpoon shoved into your car.

   wouldnt it be funny if the cops was chasing a criminal with a hostage in the trunk and the harpoon went through the trunk killing the hostage and spraying him with tear gas then the criminal says hey thanks I was gonna do that anyway

   if your where somehow able to make this retracable then it would be great, would save lifes perharps. also imagine the cases where u hav cars that wont stop cause of a fault in them.

    This obviously wouldnt work. Think about it do you think the criminal and the police car are the ONLY ones on a public street/freeway?

    Actually, this got scrapped when someone figured out the PIT maneuver is easier, safer and doesn’t require retrofitting your police cars with bronze age weapons. It does have a certain Q-branch charm, though.

    Probably never got used because the batpoo crazy people that run from cops would possibly also be dumb enough to try and crash their car and try to take the cop with them.
