Its not an automatic.

I had a 2007 Cayman S. These cars are so fun to drive–Pobst describes it perfectly. Unfortunately, mine had too much shop time so it was traded in for a 2008 Z51 Corvette; almost as fun and, thus far, fewer problems.

Now if they dropped the motor from a 911 Turbo in there… it would definitely do better than the 911 itself. Or perhaps if it gets up to GT2 leves

this automatic transmission is much different from most cars
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
for all you who wanted to know it came in 1st place

An automatic transmission in a best “driver’s car” competition? Now that’s funny.

it ain’t for nothing them Porches, Audi, BMW’s, Mercedes’, volkswagen’s and company cost that kind of money. ask a german-car owner and he/she’ll tell you…
Du kann nicht schlagen a Deutsch anderenfalls als mit a Deutsch.

It’s truly amazing to see Porsche continue their prestige with their flat 6 for all these years. I mean competing against the V8 and V10 monsters of the world, Porsche has always overachieved without compromising. Lightweight, function over form…. these Porsche engineers are simply geniuses.

I have not really been a fan of porsche ( but I photohoped a picture of one and used it as my background image ) a few miles where I live there is an old porsche for sale..my dad said whatever amount I save up for a car he’ll match it..so I may get an old porsche, an old Toyota Celica GT ( has flip up headlights ) a 57?ish Chevy Apache and other cars a guy owns..my dad has seen them but I am going to see them today or tuesday

because the pdk is that good
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Why did he leave it in automatic on a race track?
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
porsche rules,
many say that their cars look the same but there are soo beautifull that you can’t judge them, they use that retro aamazing design that started with the first 911,and keeps being better and better as years go by,
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
So this car won the whole Driver’s car comparo.
In theory, what’s better than this? A convertible Cayman!
There you go, Boxster is the best Porsche.
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Then you haven’t seen the Panamera
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
They made the sports car design twelve years ago! They squished a beetle and took the roof off and called it a boxster which is still being sold as the same design twelve years later, and then they roof back on the squashed beetle and called it a Cayman 7 years ago and I cannot tell a differance in the styling that they have made because Porsche are so lazy when it comes to designing cars
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
agreed ugliest porsche out
September 3rd, 2009 at 12:28 pm
