I am not into debating.
I am into discussing mistakes made by others so as to better learn from them - but I discuss them with my colleagues and other pilots.
“Debating” on youtube with all a sundry is not my idea of time well spent.
All sorts of argumentative types who always end up name calling
(putz? very childish and unnecessary.)
If you have been “flying airshows for years” maybe you can spend your time “debating” while I am doing something more worthwhile.
Good day.
Funny I know most in the aviation world would love to debate the actions viewed in this video. Must be nice to be above it all. Well maybe you would regale us with who you really are and why you feel necessary to be a putz. I fly airshows and have for years and still love chatting with the people who pay the way for us. Consider this: perhaps you could help someone develop an interest in aviation and help the cause in general. Youtube fans are people jusy like you and I. Some are real, some not.

engine is not relevant.
I am an aerobatic pilot and have a commercial license and have been flying for 20 years.
If other people have other opinions that is fine by me.
I don’t debate aeronautical principles on youtube.
I have found it to be a waste of time as there are too many armchair experts.
Perhaps you should read a bit about spin recovery.
1) power to idle
2) ailerons neutral
3) full opposite rudder while
4) releasing back pressure or pushing on the control column/stick, depending on a/c model
this pilot shouldn´t have entered a spin in the first place at that low an altitude
not pilot error, listen and you’ll here the engine cut out, and be restarted 3-4 seconds later. think you could manage that in a dead-like spin < 1000 ft from the ground?
Thank God no one was seriously injured! The skillful pilot got the engine going just in the nick of time. It’s too bad about the antique plane, but it’s just wood, fabric, and metal.
BREAKING NEWS!!! I got pulled over by the COPS, handcuffed & put in the back of the car. All the while, my kids & me were calling on the name of YAHWEH, and the angels and archangels to protect me and deliver me from the hands of the enemy. 5 minutes later they let me go, no ticket no nothing! Their attitudes were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!! Can’t nobody tell me nothing! YAH REIGN!!
Ich wohne im selben Ort…ich habe den Flieger kurz zuvor noch beobachtet..,.dann kam der Anruf von meinem Onkel, dass ein Flieger abgestürzt sei…zum Glück ist niemand dabei umgekommen…

Low level aerobatics leave no room for error.
Spins close to the ground are not wise.
Pilot error.
Sad but true.
