Honda FCX Clarity: The Car of the Future

Used Car Financing from up2drive.com.

The car of the future will not fly, it won’t be plasma powered nor will it be in the form of a UFO. No, the car of the future will be a four door Honda. Visit this site for an explanation (if you still didn’t get the video) why this car is the future of motoring: www.topgear.com

I dunno man. I do agree on the noise but there is even such thing has high performance.I consider myself too be a serious petrol head.i like my nissan skyline but not looking forward too when oil reaches 200 dollars a barrell.i know its a long time away but it will happen unless the hydrogen kicks off asap

  2. S2000TypeRVTEC3 Says:

They won’t have the noise of a proper sports car though.

  3. magikshark Says:

this car is only the begging.wait until there is high performnace hydrogen cars

  4. isokessu Says:

lol honda is getting pretty futuristic now. honda even made honda asimo robots. i guess biggest reason for asimo robots was that it just makes honda look cool. but they can get much money with selling them for some rich bitches :D and technology gets better then

    It’s Sienna by Paul Leonard-Morgan

  6. S2000TypeRVTEC3 Says:

You missed the point. This “piece of shit” will SAVE your beloved V8’s. How?

If everybody else is driving around using other fuels (like hydrogen) other than good old gasoline then we - the people who love our fossil fueled fast cars can have more oil to ourselves.

Watch the whole video Jay Leno said it quite clearly.

  7. carsaregood911 Says:

FUCK MY LIFE. I’m 1 year away from getting my license, and finally driving cars that I’ve always wanted too, mostly v8’s. And then, this piece of shit comes along ruining my dream. No offense, I have high respects for this car but I don’t wanna grow up driving cars with no sounds.

    It’s so sad.

  8. rofLopolous Says:

yes but the only problem is there is no infrastructure to support the FCX outside of major cities with the required refuelling stations, whereas you plug the volt into your main socket, i think.

But yes the future is Hydrogen.

whats the name of the song at 6:27?
    so beautiful

  10. fasthonda Says:

    Remarkable.

  11. savagekei05 Says:

The Volt is not going to be successful!! it takes 6-8 hrs to charge the battery vs 2-3 min to refill the FCX.

this clarity is absolutely fantastic maybe because its simply ahead of its time in term of simplicity i work as consultant in tech firm some of our client absolutely adore it, MIT GM they really admire the concept, hydrogen better than batt it maybe still flaw concept but in years time ure going to appreciate it big time trust me ..

    GO HONDA!

  14. Ritzkit4ABitzkit Says:

This car isn’t going to be available in the uk because the Government can’t be bothered spending money on makin Hydrogen filling stations and he would loose out on money. Otherwise, it would have costed around 14-15 grand. It’s brilliant in everyway actually.

  15. Dethphunk Says:

They aren’t manufacturing it cos they are afraid that the consumers wont adopt it.

Alternative fuel source is wonderful, but getting the major players to change it the bitch. Unless of course, the Senate and the White House, or every Parliaments and Houses of Representatives in this planet pass a resolution that FORCES change.

Which politician would dare risk the wrath of the automobile, finance and oil corporations? Mind you, they have much more power than you and your mere one vote.

  16. dreamentity Says:

If we would have been harvesting half of the radiated energy of the Sun, that is..

  17. dreamentity Says:

That might just be stellar if you define it as a star that is exactly half the size of ours, lol

  18. Phillowe88 Says:

It’s not exactly stellar results either though, is it? I don’t know about you, but i’m not a fan of getting half of my investment as a return on a deal.

  19. dreamentity Says:

We are approaching 50% efficiency with new PV technologies and that can hardly be called hideously inefficient anymore..

  20. daftrok Says:

Its enough to charge the car and even in cities people have two store homes where are vertical axis wind turbine from the company Windspire can be easily placed and provide 2.5 kw of power. Its more than enough to power a generator to charge the car. It can easily be done and will get multitudes cheaper if they mass produce it. But they won’t because car companies are stupid.

  21. Phillowe88 Says:

Unfortunately, Solar power is hideously inefficient and wind turbines aren’t all that practical in a city.

  22. dreamentity Says:

Well, the power output would depend more on burn rate then fuel type; I believe you meant something like energy density? - that you can compare more easily; check out the Wiki, Energy_density, lol

  23. daftrok Says:

You can get a solar panel on your roof, or a vertical axis wind turbine from windspire for 5 grand minus a 30% tax cut.

  24. tnguyen318 Says:

Sure, Hydrogen Combustion Engines are great cars. If it is clean, we should just go hydogen also. Hydrogen powered can be for trucks, buses, air planes etc. Is hydrogen power equal to gasoline power?

  25. tnguyen318 Says:

Actually, electric cars can be powered by natural energy. I do not know if there needs to be millions of wind turbines solar panels and waterfalls everywhere to make that possible. But I know that there are 150 million telephone poles however. We also have nuclear power which is clean. Just send the waste out to space and drop it on Uranus and were done. Simple as that. Just Kidding.
