I don’t want to argue with you, but I have a bootleg, with a very early version of this song, that proably day\t es back to those sessions. But I’m just saying, just cause you saw Wings in concert doesn’t make you right.

  2. beogradwill Says:

It wasn’t recorded or even written when the Beatles did Get Back. You are wrong. You must be an American. I’m from the UK I live near to Liverpool, I’ve seen Wings live. I know. You are wrong.

  3. Revan0357 Says:

No, The Beatles (Paul) did rehearse it during, Get Back/Let It Be Sessions….I’m pretty sure.

  4. beogradwill Says:

The Beatles never rehearsed this song Mr. Salvador….this is a Macartney song. The Beatles were finished by the time he wrote this song.

  5. beogradwill Says:

You never heard this being rehearsed by the Beatles Mr salvadormarley. The Beatles were finished by the time this song was written. This is a Macartney song, not a Beatles song.

  6. beogradwill Says:

Musically this is as good a song as ever the Beatles made when together.

  7. Revan0357 Says:

    yeah, I do!

I remember hearing this being rehearsed by the beatles. It was great. Does Revan have a copy of that?

A song of haunting beauty, and an appropriate grand finale to an album brimming with beautiful, insanely catchy melody.

what does this song mean? “sitting in the back seat of my car”? maybe it’s a stupid question but I’m really confused on what it might mean, any ideas?

  13. cyragon1 Says:

Paul must have thought “finally, I get sole credit for writing a song”. And the music comes saoring out of the speakers like a bird let out of its cage.

  14. Revan0357 Says:

    It is.

  19. proken58 Says:

Yeah, I think this song was about teenage love, and nothing else. As said, it’s very “Beach Boy”-ish.

  20. draknatsr Says:

i think this song was reciprocally inspired by Paul himself via Charles Manson.

  21. HersheyGirl4301 Says:

    Magninficant!

  22. kurtisp1 Says:

I don’t think this song has anything to do with Lennon. I would bet that this whole album was inspired and written for (and by) Linda McCartney. True love is the greatest inspiration- far greater than any disputes Lennon and McCartney had between them!

  23. wwekane2468 Says:

Yeah, I thought this was a Beatles song for a long time.
