Great vid btw I did not have room to say hehe Thank u for posting it I loved watching the U2 syndey tour and its hard to find XD so thank u for putting this up cause its one of my fav songs and parts of that concert ^_^ I am faving it as well ^_~
Let me start off by saying, I love U2 and have, basically since I was born and thats not an xageration, seriously Anyway… This era was one of my favs as I was born into and its got a darker more cynical and surreal-realism side to it which I love and relate to, but I think everything U2 does is like a color - Red, Blue, Green, Purple ect. and they all have a purpose and place in the vast and far reaching rainbow of their music and purpose … at least to me this is what they are ^_~
This is absolutely brilliant, like everything they did in the 90’s AND the 80’s.
But their “return” to the roots is a flop. People like it, but it’s simply not in the same class.
Edge should have listened to Bono when he played “Beautiful day” riff for the first time.
You should look towards change in your life and accept it, along with the inevitable future. Being stuck on familiar paths and not opening up yourself to change is just a boring way to live. God bless U2 for being bold enough to risk everything in order to follow their changing perspectives on life as well as the changing world. THIS IS THE BEST ERA OF U2. BAR NONE>
Are you kidding; You can’t enjoy the ‘meat’ of life, the things that count. The Real, in other words, stuff like The Joshua Tree with out having the kitschy stuff, ( the Zoo tv tour), to compare it to. Both are great. Why not have a little fun with kitsch sometimes?
What were U2 thinking when doing this tour? It was so stupid and so far removed from what I loved about them. Bono looks like and acts like an idiot. I understand it is supposed to be a “statement” about “pop stars” but it’s still lame. Thank God they went back (somewhat) to the U2 that made them famous to begin with. I’m still waiting for “The Joshua Tree II ” album though.

Maybe is true but I think that they still performed a great rock-joke experimental circus.

People of Sarajevo, count your blessings, there are those all over the world who have food, heat and security, but they’re not on tv like you are.

they were thinking many things… look around, open your eyes and ears and realize there’s a world outside your neighborhood.
Time to explore.
